As they aggressively contended with the sudden iPod domination of the digital music experience, Sony released their new entrants into the product category that targeted specific end users and explored their exact needs in a digital music player. With the release of the NW-HD5 Sony provided an on-the-go digital music player that could adapt to its user’s preferred orientation at the turn of a wrist. Many traditional mediums struggled with developing creative executions that demonstrated this product’s unique feature.
