Merv Griffin’s Crosswords
Client:
Program Partners is an innovative television company known for original programming with high production values.
Clients include ABC O&Os, Acorn Media, Alliance Atlantis, Allbritton Communications, Belo Television, CBS Television Stations, Cox Broadcasting, Discovery Networks, Fox Television Stations, Granite Broadcasting, Gray Television, Haddock Entertainment, Hearst-Argyle Television, Journal Communications, Lifetime Television, LIN TV, Media, General, Meredith Corporation, Merv Griffin Entertainment, Post-Newsweek Stations, Raycom Media, Sinclair Broadcast Group, Sony Pictures Television, and Tribune Broadcasting.
Challenge:
The Crosswords game show needed to create an online presence that would parallel the television launch of September 10th, 2007.
Solution:
Idea designed and built a site that incorporated the Crosswords look and feel. The site allows people to access a variety of information about the show, including local stations, behind the scenes and a form so visitors can register to be a contestant. Idea is in the process of creating additional online content which will include a “play online” portion and an online promotion campaign. With in the first week of the Crosswords launch the site had over 15,000 visitors and over 53,000 page views.
