Marketing Analyst

As an integral part of the interactive agency, the marketing analyst provides both digital strategy and direction in identifying, analyzing and leveraging web and user data to understand behavioral patterns to create sales / or opportunity.

Essential Functions:

  • Plan digital strategy to elevate a client’s online presence
  • Evaluate 2.0 media strategies and tactics and convey best options
  • Data analysis, creating executive summaries and KPI dashboards
  • Web analytics review and best practices education using Omniture SiteCatalyst and other tools
  • Work with the technology teams to identify gaps in capturing information and help implement solutions
  • Perform marketing analysis across email, SEM, display advertising and social media and competitive intelligence
  • Collaborate with existing partners and third parties to streamline measurement and reporting
  • Conduct primary research and provide qualitative analysis
  • Lead the testing strategy for optimizing results
  • Provide user experience recommendations
  • Provide media, messaging and go to market recommendations
  • Manage research priorities
  • Establish measurement standards, best practices across internet marketing and educate clients on these best practices and how they can benefit from interactive
  • Meeting client deliverables and work with project teams in terms of process and timeline

Qualifications:

  • At least 3-4 years of experience working with web analytic tools and 2 years of experience with research and testing techniques.
  • Previous work in interactive marketing, experience cross-industry (at a minimum technology); ecommerce experience, web analytics / marketing analytics, online advertising, email marketing and SEM (PPC)

  • GAP
  • Omniture

Other Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of project management principles and process documentation a plus
  • Business Intelligence experience also a plus
