Business Development Manager
As an integral part of the interactive agency, the Business Development Manager will develop new business and build successful client relationships, while ensuring client satisfaction and identifying new opportunities within existing projects.
Essential Functions:
- Pursue and qualify new leads from new clients, existing clients, and other Idea offices
- Adhere to established sales and workflow processes
- Provide client high-level strategic consulting and support
- Give capabilities presentations to clients
- Complete Project Scope document
- Draft Proposals and/or statements of work
- Communicate with each Solution Director to obtain accurate estimates
- Responsible for providing accurate estimates for budgets and timelines in proposals
- Respond and maintain client communication
- Respond to RFP's and new business leads
- Ensure all client contact information is communicated to Account Manager
- Participation and collaboration in all sales meetings
- Weekly updates to VP of Sales
- Handle all aspects of pre-engagement activity and transition projects to Account Managers
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree/Minimum of 8-10 years sales or client / account service experience required
Other Qualifications:
- Advertising or Agency experience required.
- The ideal candidate will be very well-versed in dealing with a wide variety of marketing campaigns.
- Experience with interactive direct marketing and testing and back-end analytics preferred.

- Experience working for both medium size and fortune 1000 companies.
