Associative Creative Director

The Associate Creative Director helps oversee aspects of the assigned client accounts including developing concepts, design, and functionality of new media projects from inception to completion. The Associative Creative Director keeps abreast of the latest technology and tools, usability, and design methodologies.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop concepts, design, and functionality of new media projects
  • Work with CD to:
    • Manage creative team on strategic accounts including art directors, designers, and copywriters
    • Create project estimates and execution briefs
    • Lead and direct the creative direction within accounts
    • Manage quality assurance of outgoing work
    • Interface with clients to present concepts, strategy and initiate projects
  • Work closely with account services, user experience, site building, marketing, and sales teams
  • Help manage team workload, budget, and mentors creative team within accounts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in design-related field or equivalent experience (6+ years including online/Web experience)
  • Excellent communication, organizational and proofing skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience in providing leadership and creative direction on medium to large-scale projects/accounts
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Flash are required
  • Must have a strong, diverse portfolio that demonstrates a strong passion for design
  • Online advertising experience preferred
